My husband and I stayed here at the end of January as a start to our tour of the Great Ocean Road. We stayed in a lovely apartment on the top floor that was beautifully appointed and had a view of the ocean from the balcony. From the moment we arrived, Karen and Doug were extremely helpful and went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and knew all the attractions to visit as well as suggesting some great restaurants nearby - the crepes at Ovenhouse were sensational! Lorne itself is a beautiful town and is well worth using as a base to travel the amazing Victorian coastline. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chatby Lane and would highly recommend it.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights in the luxury spa apartment. The room was a good size but lacked a little character. The balcony had some views of the ocean and was only a short two minute drive to the main street of Lorne. The hosts were lovely and gave us some good tips on where to eat and what to do. While it was great to get private parking it was a little difficult to get in and out of. Other then that, a great stay.

Great stay at chatby Lane. The room had everything we needed. Fab shower and breakfast in the morning. Would def recommend

We were on our honeymoon along the Great Ocean Road,when we stopped in at the Lorne Visitor Centre and they recommended Chatby Lane. We were pleasently surprised and very happy to have found such a lovely place to stay, as we hadn't made a booking, but Doug offered us a lovely ground floor studio apartment, at a great price for 2 nights. It was in such a peaceful hillside setting, and we found it close (but not too close) to Lorne's main street/restaurants/cafe's/shops... and a short walk to the beautiful beach too. Bed was super comfortable, spa ultra relaxing, and the ambience of beach & bush was truly soothing. Breakfast was nice, although a little disappointed a cooked breakfast wasn't an option, but really we couldn't fault anything. Loved our stay here and will definately be back !!!!
