“Good place, a couple of small issues.”

I stayed here on two seperate occasions recently for 1 night on Saturday nights. I stayed in the queen executive room and then the twin queen executive room. Overall I will say that the rooms are very modern, clean (though carpet was stained) and high quality - the twin executive room was very good and large in particular and had a bigger and better bathroom too, breakfast was not so good though and there was no hot breakfast, fruit was supplied in a tub.

On each of the two occasions I stayed there was 1 issue with the room, which in both cases weren't major issues. The first time the aircon did not work. The second time, we started cooking eggs at 3:30am after a night out. When we went to turn off the electric stove, the stove stayed on, on a low temperature. It was broken and could not be turned off. When we rang reception, the girl was apparently not very friendly (my friend spoke to her) and did not want to come and have a look, after a couple of calls she told us where the power box was for the whole room and we managed to get the stove off via the power box. On the other occasions I dealt with the staff (only dealt with one girl) she was great and very friendly.

If I needed to stay in or near to Kew I would gladly stay here again.

Staff were very accommodating and extremely helpful! went out of their way to make our stay as memorable as possible, well priced too.

“Dirty and not worth the money spent!”

We stayed at this hotel in December 2010. We had an executive room on the top level.
We were very unhappy with our room and experience.
The carpet was putrid - big black stains everywhere.
The bed was hard as a rock! The bed was also immediately next to the door (so you can hear every little noise from the hall way!) and less than 1/2 metre from the toilet! My husband and i found this very off putting!
There was no ventilation in the bathroom.
There was no lift - normally would be ok but we were travelling with 2 big heavy suitcases.

Dear Guest,
We would like to take this chance to apologise for your experience. We want to assure you that this is not acceptable to us, in relation to the carpets being dirty, this issue is being address. The rooms are of a contemporay and modern design and therefore have the bathrooms reflect this. With relation to there being no lift in most cases we are reception staff are able to assist you with your luggage and special requests to be on a lower level can be made on time of booking.
We apologise that this was not satisfactory as we do value our customers. Management has taken on board your comments and is currently working at addressing them.
We are sorry that your stay was disappointing so please feel free to contact us directly should you require anything further.

“Started awesome then Progressively worse”

I have stayed in this place 3 times now on business and I don't think I'll be back. The front desk staff are always friendly and polite.

The first time I stayed here I had a room on the newer part which was very modern, clean & comfortable. The next time I stayed, I was in a room in the main building on the left of the hall which was ok but not as nice as the first. The third time I was in a room in the main building on the right of the hall. It was run down, the Aircon was noisy, there was food left in the fridge from the previous guests and the bathroom was like stepping back to 1983.

Next time I'll be looking somewhere else

Dear Valued Guest, We thank you for your feedback and apologise for the inconveniences you experienced during your stay at Quest Beaumont Kew. All our rooms have been refurbished recently with new carpets,beds, furniture and TV's and we are continuely improving the rooms. The Housekeepers do clean out the fridges and my apologise for this being missed, we have addressed this issue with our staff.
In an instance such as this, we ask guests to notify reception of any issues with the rooms so that we can immediately manage the situation, we are able to put preference on your room type that is prefered and by booking the executive rooms you are gauranteed the ones that are newer and more modern. “Cleaners must be on holidays”

We stayed in room 607 a so called executive twin. The room was very dirty and dusty the carpet in this room is putridly stained and dirty. The bathroom also needs a good clean. We paid $265 for one night which did not include breakfast. I am a frequent user of accomodation in and around melbourne and I would be reluctant to stay again given the price paid and the condition of the room.

Dear Valued Guest, We thank you for your feedback and apologise for the inconveniences you experienced during your stay at Quest Beaumont Kew. Our executive twin rooms are fairly new and modern rooms and we take pride in the presentation on the rooms. Your experience does sound unique and rooms are checked daily. Last minute rooms are sometimes not dusted before the guests go in due to the time the booking could of been made. Our rates for an executive twin are $265 as this is accommodating 4 people and includes carparking.
