We stayed at Dumfries park and were really disappointed with the accommodation. Although the owners are really kind they property is of a very, very poor standard. The room we stayed in was full of smelly dank air and the bedding was damp and wet. When I drew the curtains the whole wall and curtain were covered in damp. I had to spray perfume everywhere to try to get rid of the smell but it was so bad we regularly woke up in the night. The bathroom is nice enough although shared, but it really did feel like you were staying in a spare room that hadn't been opened for years - not fun. I would not stay here again.
