We stayed at The Meridien at Trinity for 14 nights. This was our 5th stay at Trinity Beach in seven years and our 4th stay at the Meridien.
As always we requested a beach front apartment, rather than one of the ocean view ones, which are at the back of the complex, although they would probably get a better view as they are so much higher.
The apartments are very spacious, modern and well appointed, although like many holiday rentals, the kitchen equipment (pots, pans, knives, etc) were of low quality and there were not enough of them for our liking (we do like to cook a lot).
The apartment had three bedrooms, although one was locked off as we had only booked a 2 bedroom apartment. It was somewhat annoying that the second bedroom had no wardrobe space at all and was quite small, especially as the locked bedroom (we have stayed in this apartment and used it as a 3br previously) has extensive wardrobe space.
The staff were very helpful, especially when configuring our internet connection. They have struck a good balance between being available and helpful, yet not overly visible. The rooms and grounds were very clean and tidy.
One of the best features of the Meridien is its proximity to the stinger nets - no more than a 30 metre walk. I'd hate to stay at the other end of Trinity Beach and have to walk a couple of hundred metres to swim at teh beach.
Trinity Beach is the perfect holiday spot for our family. It has a lovely safe beach, plenty of places to eat, and is less pretentious than some of its northern neighbours.
We love the Meridien and will definitely be back again.

Well what a great place, the hosts Judy & Alan were excellent, could'nt help enough with anything we needed (tours , advice, travel etc). When we arrived and were taken to our apartment Alan open the door, WOW it was fantastic, so spacious and the decore was great, the rooms were so large and the spa, what can i say . In the rooms everything was their that you need from the kitchen to the laundry. The beach is just across the road and the pool just down stairs, and restraunts within walking distance.

we had the best stay in cairns we have ever had,. the unit was superb well presented and very clean. judy and alan are very nice people to do business with and did everything to ensure our stay was a very pleasurable one...cannot recommend meridien highly enough...four stars is an understatement

We spent a fantastic week at The Meridien at Trinity Beach. The apartment was spacious and well maintained, with every feature possible to make a comfortable home away from home. The apartment was lovely, with modern ammenties and even a tv room. The spa in the bathroom is one of the best because of its circular shape and has a view of Trinity Beach - breath taking.
We stayed on the top floor, recommended for the view and with an out door spa on the balcony. Every morning we would sit out on the balcony and watch the sun sparkle on the blue ocean and watch the palm trees sway gently in the breeze, what a feeling of tranquility and peace.
Trinity Beach is a great place to relax, very serene and peaceful and with services very close and Cairns only 20 minutes by car.
The managers made us feel very welcome and were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the surrounding area.
Overall, the accomodation was good value to money. We highly recommend a stay at Trinity and look forward to returning.
