“Hillhaven is a Great Place By the Beach!!”

My husband and I, together with my sister and her Fiancé spent 5 days at Hillhaven Holiday Apartments. We booked one of the units on the 6th floor and it was one of the best views ever! You can see the beach from Burleigh Heads to Surfers Paradise. The view is excellent by day and by night. On one side you see the civilization and on the other side is simply the vast ocean.
For active outdoor people there is much more to do besides the beach and surfing. There are trails on the hill next to the property, great for morning exercise! Different sections of the trails give you different views of the beach. The property is close to numerous restaurants and a shopping center for your kitchen supplies. If you don't have a car, you can walk to any of these places without having to call a taxi.
The unit we stayed in was a 2BR, great for a family or 2 couples. It was very relaxing as it has been updated with contemporary decor - blue and white and very modern kitchen. The kitchen has all the appliances and kitchenware you need to prepare any meal.
The property managers - Sabrina & Keith, are very nice and quite helpful with tips and ideas for visitors from abroad. Excellent customer service! For someone making a booking from abroad, they were very helpful with the booking, answered all our questions and also helped with booking transportation from the airport.
For the rate of under $200 per night, this property offers a lot and we would definitely book it again for another vacation when we travel to Australia.

“AMAZING VIEWS FROM BURLEIGH TO SURFERS”

My husband and I recently stayed in unit 33 - it's one of the gold delux rooms on the top floor - It has the most amazing views - most oceans views are great through the day but of a night all you really see is black - Hillhaven has amazing views day and night as you can see right up the coastline to Surfers Paradise - the unit itself was beautifully decorated with Miele appliances - apartment and furnishings all in very good condition - kitchen well stocked. My only suggestion to the unit owner would be a ceiling fan in the lounge room. Mostly don't need it as there is always a sea breeze, although as the apartments are on the headland, if the wind gets too strong and the door needs to be closed, could get a bit warm.(Although i believe pedestal fans may be available to hire from the office). Would definately revisit if the oportunity arises.

“I Wonder What the Poor people are Doing today?”

If you want to lift your spirits and be king for a day get one of the top apartments at Hillhaven. It's not over the top at $200 per night and it commands views to the Gold Coast and over the surf beach where you see the early morning surfers try their luck. And if it wasn't for the curvature of the earth you could see New Zealand.
Apartment 35 was beautifully renovated with two bedrooms and magic views from the living and main bedroom. And a really smart Caesar stone kitchen and living with comfy soft furnishings and a mirrored wall to double the views.
It borders the national park and there are several walking tracks that are just great, one running around the rocky shoreline and leading to a secluded beach and others running over the hill.
There is a great little shopping centre within walking distance and Connors Cafe does the best breakfast.

“Hillhaven is highly recommended with great customer service!”

We spent 7 days at Hillhaven and had a glorious time. We are fussy about clean and crisp bathrooms, kitchen etc and Keith and Sabrina (managers) gave us exactly what we wanted.

Apartment #6 is well laid out and nice and comfy. It has a nice modern look and feel with Italian applicances and its peacock theme is very pleasant. The two bedrooms cater for parents and kids with ease. There is only one bathroom and w/c - some might feel the w/c is slight small! Overall though, what you see on the website is what you get - its nice and importantly - its not photoshop-ed!

Although it overlooks the beach from the 3rd floor, the carpark is just behind the front door, so no climbing steps - nice!

The beach and national park walk is right accross the road - very convenient! The view of the waves, rocks and fir trees from the very large balconies is super. If you are a light sleeper, the sounds of the waves crashing against the rocks may keep you awake!

The customer service I experienced with Sabrina and the staff at Hillhaven was wonderful. After making the bookings, I had to change dates - they were very polite and accomodated my request with no queries or fees.

When trying to buy tickets for the theme parks, my credit card wouldnt work. Hillhaven put the tickets on their tab so that we could have the fun first and then pay on the last day.

All in all, we had a fantastic holiday at Burleigh Heads while we called Hillhaven our "home".

Room Tip: Email Hillhaven and let them know if you have a preference for something. They were extremely helpfu...

“Wonderful views and great decor”

Not a fan of Burleigh Heads, or the Gold Coast generally, but this place is great. We spent 2 nights in a top floor apartment and the quality of the views and interior decoration/appliances are top notch. Was incredible watching the surfers heading out to catch some great breaks. Having travelled around Australia we have not stayed somewhere that is as well kitted out as this place. Staff could not have been more helpful. Mind the steep hill when parking, our clutch took a bit of a bashing.
