I booked this accommodation via wotif.com however the description doesn't match what you get. The place looks tired and totally unkept from the outside and it felt like I was staying in one of many rooms in an old share house. It was noisy - I could hear people tramping up and down the hallway and in the other rooms.
Although the bed was comfortable, the room and bathroom were tiny and the tap dripped all night. There was no fridge, alarm clock or ironing facilities in the room (as advertised) and the tea and coffee making facilities were in the bathroom cabinet on the shelf with the spare toilet roll. The TV was tiny and on top of a tall wardrobe and our 'balcony' looked straight onto a fence and hedge that was seriously in need of repair.
I got the impression that it's owned by the next door hotel La Maison as we had to go there for everything (eg advertised sauna, breakfast, reception - including check in etc). Even the bed sheets were marked as belonging to 'La Maison'. We felt like outcasts and the poor relations next door. At a 'B&B' which is how it was advertised, you expect the owners to be present and available onsite - this wasn't a B&B - it was simply an unkept property left unattended.
On the up side - it's a 10 minute walk to Echo point and into Katoomba itself. The staff we did see next door were pleasant enough.
Overall, very poor and disappointing and I would not stay again or recommend this place to others. It has a three star AAA rating - which should mean 'Well appointed and comfortable accommodation with a good range of facilities and furnishings' - However it fits better with a 1 - 1.5 star rating....VERY DISAPPOINTING.

when we first arrived , the house looks quite simple, but when we entered the living room and the room itself, it was cozy, clean and comfortable for a family like us. the bath room was clean and tidy. The location is very near to the 3 sister , we can reached there by walking.

This property was very poorly maintained, the room was cold and there is absolutely no service at all. If you want to find out anything at all you have to call or go to the property next door.
We had to leave at 8.00 for an appointment in Sydney and were informed that breakfast (which is also served next door) would not be available until 8.30am.
The ceiling in the room was covered in cobwebs and the bedding looked as if it came from Vinnies. The TV set which was tiny lives on top of the free standing wardrobe which is well over 1.8 meters high and the air conditioned was not working.
The heading sums up this property. It is a no star dump.

Like other review of this hotel this hotel is seriously tired and in need of a renovation. The bathrooms were very clean however, as was the bedding and rooms. It just felt like you were staying at your grandparents house though,the ones you have never met before. It has this old vibe. Not really somewhere you would want to go to when on holiday.
