Wow what a fantastic B&B - one of the best we've stayed in. We spent last weekend there (4-6 Feb 12) and are still talking about our experience. John and Kathy are fabulous hosts and very discrete. We stayed in the Viola Suite and can highly recommend it - room is spacious, bed extremely comfortable and a lovely ensuite (which includes a spa bath). Tea, coffee and cookies in the room and delicious port to enjoy at the end of each day. And breakfast - as stated in other reviews, this is an amazing experience - and luckily for us, as the weather was superb during our stay, we enjoyed this on the balcony. Both mornings we had different meals and everything was divine - on the first day, poached pears followed by eggs benedict with salmon; and on day 2 apricots, ricotta and walnuts, followed by chorizo and scrambled eggs - delicious ... and excellent coffee to boot! To top it off, we ordered the antipasto platter on our first evening - wow what an array of yummy goodies (and so well presented) - everyone should try this! While we didn't use the guest lounge, it's a beautiful space and would be a nice place to relax. What made our stay extra special was that John collected us from the railway station and dropped us off again on the Monday. To wrap up, I would highly recommend this B&B and we're already looking forward to another visit.
