this lodge is cheap and dirty. The owner/manager is extremely rude, highly unaccomodating and non sense. I asked the owner to warm my child's milk in the bottle in the microvave they have ( the microvace in the logde is not available for customers only owner has access to it) but he refused and said " we dont warm the milk" what the hell was that??? then in the morning breakfast i asked the owner (who cooks the damn food) to give me 3 hash brown for my family but he refused and said only 1 to 1 person. Dont spoil your mood and your holidays.

After reading the trip advisor reviews we were filled with dread. Yes it is a little dated but the hotel was perfectly fine. No, it is not 5 star but it doesn't make itself out to be. We had no problems at all. The staff were friendly. The room was clean and heater warm. There were no curfews as was mentioned in other reviews. There was access into the hotel all night. Food was plentiful and hearty.
I really think that some people just have nothing better to do with their lives but complain! You get what you pay for- comfortable but not flash!!

I found & booked this motel at the last minute for my son & his girlfriend, as they'd left it too late to get in to the local backpackers. Acacia Snowy Motel is close to the major ski-fields: about 20mins to Thredbo, a little longer to Perisher. The room itself was a good size, well-heated, and immaculate. Breakfast was included in the tariff, and had enough variety to please most diners. The motel had a 'drying' room for ski gear, and a well-appointed games-common room. I was also very pleasantly surprised that the tariff wasn't that much more than the backpackers. We might all go back next year!!

Stayed for a long weekend in July. Budget accommodation as expected. Would have been pretty much perfect if there was heating in bathroom and the bed had been made up each day.
