I found & booked this motel at the last minute for my son & his girlfriend, as they'd left it too late to get in to the local backpackers. Acacia Snowy Motel is close to the major ski-fields: about 20mins to Thredbo, a little longer to Perisher. The room itself was a good size, well-heated, and immaculate. Breakfast was included in the tariff, and had enough variety to please most diners. The motel had a 'drying' room for ski gear, and a well-appointed games-common room. I was also very pleasantly surprised that the tariff wasn't that much more than the backpackers. We might all go back next year!!

Stayed for a long weekend in July. Budget accommodation as expected. Would have been pretty much perfect if there was heating in bathroom and the bed had been made up each day.

Booked a night here and then read the reviews, decided to keep an open mind. Stayed with my daughter and her son on 7th July. The room was warm, the beds comfortable, the shower was hot, the breakfast was fine, the owners were very courteous, AND we didn't get locked in or out of the room....

Firstly, there was used chewing gum stuck to the wall in the room. The bathroom had not been cleaned, how do I know this, by the pubic hair attached to the bath mat. Toilet dirty and the bath had a dirty ring around it. We slept on the floor as the main bed saged so much. Owners need a crash course in cooking, yuk. We stayed for one night and left, very early the next morning. Paid for four nights. Total rip off. DONT STAY THERE.
