We stayed 2 weeks at the Station and found the staff to be super friendly, the rooms were serviced very regularly and they had great entertainment at Happy Jacks tavern, including live bands and a trivia night. We will be back again this year for sure. If you want good value this is the place to go.

The only reason we stayed at The Station was because it was part of the deal we purchased from Scoopon, we paid for the lift passes and got the accomodation for free. That place is absoloutely hidious, it is an extreme version of basic accomodation. It looked like it was built 40 years ago and nothing has been touched sinced.

All of this would have been manageable, since we only stayed there for 2 nights and spent the whole day out skiing, until we got woken up late at night by what sounded like someone having a conversation in our room - our neighbours next door have arrived! You could literally talk to people staying in the next 'hotel' room without even raising your voice! Obsiously,we could not complain, they were not doing anything outrageous, just talking!!!

On top of it all, The Station has almost no amenities, with very little choice of dinner options. Do yourself a favour, DO NOT spoil your skiing trip by staying there.

P.S. From what we've seen on their web-site, they are not cheap either! Honestly, they have to pay You, to stay there!

We stayed at the end of September 2011, it snowed all weekend! We stayed at The Station because it seemed like it had everything at a cheap price for a family. After traveling in the car for 6hrs, we arrived at reception and were greeted by a nasty sarcastic staff member named Lilly, who had a major nasty chip on her shoulder! The staff at the hire store send you up the mountain to hire your snow gear. Five hours after we arrived, we finally had checked in and had all our gear. The room may look clean but as our children discovered, BEWARE of what is under the bed!! The snow is a great family holiday but staying at the station almost wrecked our trip! There so called packages cancel out other cheaper family deals you can get when you get there. BEWARE!!!!

Terrible room cleaning, asked reception to vacuum twice, did not happen. I had a few things stolen from room. Tiny beds and the old box TV sets. Had to buy own toilet paper, as cleaner were hopeless. The walls are paper thin, you could hear every thing in the next room. Over priced for what you get.
