It's ok but it's old and dated. It's not in thredbo and it's not in Jindabyne so you have no access to any bars or restaurants or night life etc. It's in the middle of nowhere. It has a 6km dirt, mud, steep, bumpy driveway with a hairpin turn - nightmare.

Stayed with family and friends and all thoroughly enjoyed: the fantastic views over the Thredbo Valley to Lake Jindabyne; thegenerous accommodation and; the outstanding hospitality of Sue & Scott (great breakfasts and dinners!).

We have stayed here a few times and always enjoy our stay. Friendly hosts and great areas to sit around the fire and enjoy a drink or hot chocolate. Our kids enjoyed the ping pong table and pool table. The rooms are very comfortable and warm. The resort is high up with amazing views over Lake Jindabyne and the snow tipped mountains. The gravel road that leads up to it is an easy drive but watch out for wildlife on the road There is a resaurant and bar, and a great full breakfast is included. We found it easy getting to the ski tube each morning and also very close to Jindabyne. We stayed the weekend here with friends for my 50th birthday and the hosts organised a lovely dinner for us and were very accommodating with all our requests making it a memorable birthday. We just had our 4th stay at Altitude 1260 and it was as good as our 1st stay.Sue and Scott are great hosts. They always make time for a chat and welcome you as if you are one of their family. The bedrooms are always warm and clean and the main louge room has great lounges with big old fashion open fire place. Very relaxing after a hard day of skiing. We love staying there and can highly recommend the service and the relaxing atmosphere. Nev and Shiralee.

We are a family with 3 young kids & we found that this accommodation was perfect for us. The views were amazing, the location was great & the linen was very clean.
Scott & Sue were the perfect hosts catering to all our needs, they were very friendly & always had great advice.
It was fantastic after a long day of skiing to come back to a nice & cosy environment where we could relax by the fireplace whilst the kids were entertained by the kids entertainment area :)
It was a great experience for us all & we can't wait to go back!
