When we arrived at this hotel in the pouring rain,it looked like a very poor motel, but the setting at the lakeside was beautiful. There was nowhere else to stay and so we checked in. The sheets were clean and room was basic but functional. The restaurant was crowded and very much a cafe for passers by so we ate elsewhere. Breakfast was very basic but adequate. If no one was in reception instructions were to go to the bottle shop next door! It would appeal to young skiiers in season looking for a cheap and not very cheerful place en route to Tredbo! With some investment this could be a lovely place.
