Stayed here before heading to Thredbo a few years & booked it again this year. Plus other family members & friends [all up 4 rooms]. Cost was $195 for 5 people - rooms have been updated but are small. Bathroom is much better - at least the shower has water pressure. The Manager had contacted me three days before departure to confirm booking [& I had spoken to him a week before to confirm] & then he rang us when we were 15 minutes from Cooma. We were right on ETA....so don't know why the need for the phonecalls.
Motel is a very quick & brisk walk to the RSL - food is basic but fine. And it is only just over an hour away to Thredbo.

Probably the smallest motel room we have stayed in, difficult to put out 2 cases and walk around the bed. Very small bathroom. Room cold when we arrived, even though room was booked and paid for in advance. Old heating that took awhile to heat up room but ok when heated. Electric blanket only worked on one side. Luckily we only paid $95 as a winter special via the web, but when I rang to enquire the owner wanted to charge $130, so I went back and booked on web. Good check in service and friendly owner. He recommended a great Lebanese restaurant in town. Overall I would not go there again.

Stayed for 2 nights. Rooms are not over large but extremely clean and tastefully decorated. Bathroom also clean but a little cramped. The grounds are well maintained with some nice little decorator touches here too. Very quiet and had a great sleep . Good value ,well cooked hot breakfast. Possibly the best set out, most informative motel directory I have ever seen with lots of additional tourist information. Walking distance to town and RSL .

This motel is not only clean & tidy. it is comfortable accomidaton close to all ammenities. They have undercover parking & clean your windscreen to get you back on the road.
