The four of us arrived in Airlie on a wet Sunday... drove to our Unit and with bated breath entered. What we saw was amazing, not only was our 2 bedroom Unit fantastic but the view we had , even on a wet day...was wonderful! Needless to say, QLD weather, quickly improved and with the spacious balcony we had, we could watch the changing colours of the Ocean from the top of the hill and just be totally relaxed. My sister & I also enjoyed a Facial/Massage package at the Endota Spa (within Resort)..It was just the best & of course we bought products...because they were the best. Met the Owners, who were also lovely and accomadating and friendly if you needed anything.. other wise they gave you privacy. There was so much to do in Airlie Beach and to come back to our beautiful Apartment..Magic!

Hi folks would just like to tell you that after a bad experience at Blue Horizon Airlie beach I drove to the top of the hill to "Pinnacles resort and spa"
The people, service,friendliness and overall presentation of the resort...... are absolutely brilliant.
My wife and I travel to Brisbane,Melbourne,Gold coast and Sydney on a regular basis for time away in apartments and this place is the best I have stayed in.....no wonder it is 5 star.
Pinnacles to advertise stunning sea views and they mean every word of it, no false advertising here........You will not regret giving this resort a look in and if you don't then you will never know what you missed out on.
From the moment you walk into the main reception you are made to feel like you are welcome, it is private,quiet and a real memorable holiday experience.....Thankyou Pinnacles, you are now our number 1 spot to stay in Airlie beach.

We had a beautiful apartment with an outdoor spa looking overlooking Airlie Beach. Everything was well presented, modern and clean. The pool area was also very nice. Very happy with the facilities overall.

As with all the other reviews, yes the hill is steep (24% incline on the road sign), yes the driveway is steeper! We are both near 30 and relatively fit and we found it to be a bit of an effort (especially in the heat) but not terrible. It took us just over 5 minutes to walk from the bottom of the street to the top of the driveway. If you take your swimmers with you, just jump straight in the pool!

The only negative about the property is just a few too many signs, information sheets, pieces of paper saying "No doing this... No doing that.... etc etc etc" I think one would be enough.

Also, in case you hadn't realised this is a 5 star self contained apartment, not a hotel. So no 24 hour front desk, room service, towel changes, turn down service, you take out your own rubbish(!) etc. For some reason we didn't know until after we checked in (our fault), but if you go in knowing it's fine.

We booked this place through booking.com and had it for a great price and we still had a amazing flat, a two bedrooms flat(flat number 24) with a huge balcony, a spa and we felt like at home. the kitchen is fully equipped. The staff is very very nice and really helpful. There is a really steep hill but it worth it for the view and many times Sue offers us to drive us up to the top so we didn t have to walk! A cab for the main street will cost you 5$ and 7$at night. The flat wAs very clean. The swimming pool is great! Thank you so much Sue and all the staff for making our stay memorable!!!!
