We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights as part of a sailing trip package. I believe there are varying level of stars at this hotel, although we stayed in the Motel portion (3 stars) and the beds were clean although not very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the AC worked wonderfully! The free wifi was a bit slow for downloading but adequate for email/facebook. It's walkable to a number of restaurants & a liquor shop.

Another plus was they let us borrow beach towels for our sailing trip and held our luggage for 2 days post checkout.

The hotel is in a great location, just at the quiet end of the Airlie beach. My room and bathroom were big and comfortable and had a nice balcony. Although the room was sold as the oceanview room, there is not much ocean that you can see. I would not probably pay extra for that view.

The staff were nice and friendly. The hotel has three restaurants, which serve good quality food. There is also a free wi-fi, accessible from the rooms and the restaurants.

This hotel was well presented and the service staff were reasonably healthy. Airlie beach is a beautiful location and I think they up the tariffs for this reason. There are 4 different restuarants attached to the hotel so plenty of options for eating. The rooms are a little dated but well presented and the bed was pretty good.
