This Hotel I would recommend ites clean tidy - Ikea look about it. Had a hide away kitchen which mircowave and fridge the fridge had a jug for water and had been kindly filled up for our arrivial. There was no air con in the bedroom but it did not bother us as it wasnt too hot. The only bad thing is the location in relation to the main strip /town. Its a ood 10min walk didnt matter too much to us but if you strugle to walk / have children may not be so good. however there was a bus stop at the bottom of the road I only mention this as some info I read said it was 2mins from beach, The lagoon in thr town is nice. I do recommend waiting if you can stand to if you want to bok any trips as they are so much cheaper to book there We went on Camera trip to white haven beach whcih was pretty spectacular and we did the reef which was also worthwhile.

We stayed here for two nights. We were very happy with the size, comforts and amenities considering what we paid through hotels.com, great value. Service was also top notch, the staff was very helpful and glad to help. When we had missed our bus to a Whitsunday cruise they arranged and paid for transport to the marina so we got there in time, no charge and all smiles!

My husband and I stayed at Whitsunday Vista over the recent Christmas break and it was amazing. Upon arrival we were greeted by a really nice receptionist whom we then found out were the Managers of the entire hotel – it was so nice to talk with the person who actually looks after the place and cares. The room was fantastic we had the most beautiful views from our balcony and from the spa in our bathroom. It was just so beautiful to wake up in the morning to such amazing views. John and Regina (managers) were so helpful whenever we asked them about the area and what we can do where we can eat etc. If they were unsure of opening hours of particular places they went out of their way to find out for us. Whitsunday Vista is in a perfect position in Airlie Beach although it is not right in the heart of Airlie Beach it is only a 10minute walk away which is wonderful as it is so peaceful and quiet all the time yet if you want to pop into Airlie Beach for a meal it was just a small walk down the road.
We will definitely be going back to Whitsunday Vista – it would have had to of been one of the best holidays we have had and the staff made us feel so welcome.

We stayed at the Whitsunday resort for 3 x days on our way up to Townsville. We originally booked it as 'mystery accomodation' through Wotif.com, so had no idea about the resort.
The apartments are extremely clean and very comfortable with everything included. The only negative thing I could point out is the lack of ventilation in the bathroom, very hot and sticky during the humid part of the year. After a shower had to go out into the living room to dry off and get dressed, not a biggie if your with family. We swam in the pool every day and was very impressed with the pool/bbq area. For those that are keen, the resort is a good walk from downtown Airlie. But only a 2 x minute drive. Nice and peaceful.
