“Value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 January 2012

We spent a week at Mango Lagoon earlier this month and can thoroughly recommend it. The apartment was roomy and clean. Both our apartment and the resort generally had a nice feel to it - very peaceful and quiet. Our kids (11 & 12) really enjoyed the variety of pools and loved the huge lap pools beautiful shady trees. Our stay was made all the more enjoyable by unseasonably great weather - not rain a drop of rain from 6 - 12 Jan with low humidity as well. Its a bit of a walk to the beach and restaurants but quite manageable. At night use the SHUTTLE BUG on 0447 288 447- an electric stretched golf cart shuttle service that operates around Palm Cove. At $6 for the 4 of us from The Rising Sun to Mango Lagoon its excellent value and a great way to see Palm Cove. The regular bus service is unreliable from the stop outside Mango Lagoon so its better to catch it down on the beach. Our apartment came with a car as well which was clean & perfect for us as we did our shopping in nearby Clifton Beach. On reflection we definately recommend Mango Lagoon for a good value relaxing break. Its not beachfront but when the ocean is off limits it really doesnt matter. Enjoy!

Room Tip: Bottom floor has best access to pools.

“Memorable would consider staying again”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 January 2012

The resort meet everything I had read and the rooms and grounds were exactly as per the photographs on the site. I do have one gripe which was the bed which was very large but had springs sticking into your back. This would normally infuriate me but the rest of the room and price helped to calm me.

“Good value, very restful”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 January 2012

We stayed here back in January 2009.
This is a lovely, peaceful resort with very helpful and friendly staff.
The self catering accommodation was spacious, clean and tastefully decorated with access to the long communal lap pool.
There are lots of lovely restaurants and cafes in the area and it is a short walk to them all as well as the beach which was very pretty.
It was very quiet here; however our visit was during an extremely wet period that resulted in major flooding to the area shortly after we left so this may not be an accurate reflection on the resort.
We will be returning to this resort in the future.

“What a great resort!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 December 2011

I got a great off-peak rate on this resort where we spent 3 nights. We were overwhelmed by the size of the apartment. It was very quiet and peaceful. If you are after a good value self-catered apartment this definately fits the bill. It is about a 10 minute walk to the beach. It has a lovely balinese feel and beautiful gardens. Room was a bit dark and no fly screens but hardly a complaint! Would definately visit again. Palm cover itself is beautiful and not busy at this time of year if you dont mind the heat!

Room Tip: Ground floor rooms looked good
