We stayed here for two nights in December 2011.
Austin and Jay provide a very warm, welcoming atmosphere in their restored historical house – a splendid, lovely old building with plenty of space and a lovely garden.
We were greeted with the offer of a cup of tea or coffee and some delicious home made cake.
Our room – called Nappa – had an en-suite bathroom down a short flight of stairs.
The room and bed were comfortable, the view over the rear gardens delightful, the shower excellent.
Breakfasts in the dining room, freshly prepared by Austin and Jay were absolutely delicious – plenty enough to set us up for a busy day sightseeing. Austin is a dab hand at making coffee on his trusty machine – his flat white is so good it should be patented.
