Our third time at Quarterdeck, we try to get there once a year for a weekend away. Pet friendly means you can take the puppy who also enjoys the break (at least I think he does.) Not far frorm the beach, 7 minutes from the major shopping centre(s), great units, well equipped kitchen. A great place to spend a relaxing "do nothing" weekend.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom detached townhouse with double garage. The property was spacious, with plenty of room for the family to spread out. It was excellent value as well. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Rather strangely for somewhere that sleeps up to 6 people (plus a sofa bed) there were only 4 chairs round the dining room table - not a problem for us, we just moved the chair from the office area (yes there is even an office area) and used that. (we could also have taken a chair from the 6 around the garden table)

The only other minor niggles (so minor that we didn't mention them - if we had I'm sure that they would have been fixed immediately) were a couple of blown/missing bulbs.

If I were visiting Hervey Bay again I would definitely stay here again.

There are no 'downsides' to Quarterdecks: everything about this beautifully maintained and wonderfully managed piece of Paradise is fantastic.Like some of the others that have written about Quarterdecks, we too have stayed at other 5* places in Hervey Bay but this is far and beyond the best value for money and offers so much more. The most important is the quality of the very personalised service provided. Nothing asked is too much for Craig, the 'hands on' Manager and he truly makes your stay the best to remember. Spotlessly clean, every amenity available, and your privacy is assured. Can't recommend highly enough!

We stayed at Quarterdecks for a couple of nights and will definitely be booking again! The villa was immaculately clean, comfortable and spacious - we honestly couldn't fault it at all. The pool, spa & sauna were also lovely, clean and we spent plenty of time there! The complimentary dvd's were a real plus too. The managers were so friendly and helpful and made the whole experience, from booking over the phone through to our whole stay there, a pleasure. We've stayed at a few places in Hervey Bay and although this place may not be on the ocean/marina front, it is undoubtably the best we have been to and will stay here again without hesitation.
