“Escape to the Rainforest”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 February 2012

My husband and I recently had the opportunity to take his parents to this B&B after a recommendation from a family friend. We were lucky enough to secure a booking at short notice and were not disappointed by the quant rooms and the luscious rainforest setting. Dianne was a most gracious host attending to our every request, including fully organising day trips, leaving us with no hassle on our weekend away.
I consider myself somewhat of a hot breakfast connoisseur and I can honestly say it was a hit.
If you want an escape to the rainforest or the bay, Chamomile B & B has them both! My husband's parents have already booked their next stay and are taking up Dianne's wonderful offer of a courtesy airport pickup!

Room Tip: The Rose Room has an ensuite

“warm, welcoming and great place to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 January 2012

This is a must stay at Harvey Bay, Dianne and her husband both run a great B'n'B. Dianne is very hospitable, welcoming and helpful. Dianne upgraded us to an ensuite and it was lovely. Very clean and quite. The breakfast was great and location is perfect to get around. I would like to also thank Diane who helped me sort out my suitcase that managed to get broken on route from Brisbane, she helped me sort it out! Thanks! I will be coming back if I am in the area again. Thanks again Diane

“Excellent B&B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 January 2012

We were recommended this B&B by people we met on our travels and it did not disappoint. Dianne went out of her way to help us book a trip to Fraser Island which saved us a lot of time and was extremely appreciated. The price of the rooms are extremely reasonable and the standard of accommodation is exceptional. It has a real family feel and Dianne is only too happy to ask about your day and give advice on places to go etc.
I was travelling with a friend and she made us feel really at home. The breakfast she made in the morning was gorgeous - if you ever get the chance to go remember to ask for the omlette as its exceptionally good.
I would recommend this place to anyone going to Hervey Bay.
Thanks for everything Dianne - we had a great time
Jodie and Claire x

“Paradise Retreat”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 January 2012

I stayed here over the 2011/2012 New Year as I wanted to find a comfortable relaxing retreat that gave me an "at home" feeling while I was away without the hotel environment - I found that and more. It was walking distance to the bay so was great not to have to worry how to get back after dinner! The room and breakfast was fantastic - each time my head touched the pillow I was out like a light - talk about a restoration holiday! Diane catered to all my questions about what to do in the area which was great. The gardens at the property were peaceful along with all the flying visitors that come with it - I highly recommend people to come for a visit!

“Home away from home”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 December 2011

Stayed here for christmas and took 2 day trip to Fraser Island. Chamomille B&B was beautyful, the owner absolutely the best and our room (which was upgrated for free for us) was so romantic and nice.

Only thing that we hadn't prepared for was the distances in the city nor the closing hours of the restaurants and shops. If you stay here (which we recommend!) rent a bike! Best christmas ever!

Best wishes to Charlie (aka George)!
