We have been staying at Frazer Lodge for the last 3 christmas's.
We love the park, the staff & the location. The central location of the park is one of the highlights, allowing easy & quick access to a range of facilities.
But we did have a shock when we went to book our holiday for next christmas vacation. We were informed that the prices for powered sites was to rise by 20%, & because we have a 11hr trip home we hire a cabin for the last night to allow us to pack our camper up & get away early the next morning, but the cabin will also be 20% dearer.
I am hoping that the steep increase in prices, will go towards a bigger main swimming pool, we (& others) find that when there is more that around 15 people in it, it becomes fairly crowded. The camp kitchen could do with a renovation as well. The lack of water pressure at the main sink has been like that for 3 years.
This is not a shot at the staff at the park, its at the owners. They set the rates
We will be back, but for only 10 nights this time not the usual 14 nights
