First, I would largely discount reviews that have not been done for this hotel that are more than a year or two old. The new owner is quite helpful and easy to work with, and the place is now well managed and very comfortable. The hotel, itself, is relatively small, and situated just after you turn on to the road in to town. While that makes it easy to find, it is also a bit far out of the main part of town, so to access many things (like most of the restaurants), you need to drive.
The rooms at the Comfort Inn are relatively spacious, and would work very well for a family of four to live out of for a few days as the kitchen has what you will need and the rook itself is relatively large. We found the beds comfortable, and the other facilities to work well for us. There is room out back to sit. There are washing facilities on site, and it was no problem using them.
While we we there for only one night, we thought highly of the place, with the main deficiti is its location a bit far from the main part of town.
