We were part of a large family staying in Whangarei for a wedding. Went spent 2 nights at this motel and it was great. We have a 4 year old son with Autism, and this motel was perfect, located in a quiet area, on a dead end street, and an easy walk to the suppermarket, church etc. We could have stayed at newer motels but I am really pleased we didnt. The swimming pool was alittle cold but it was refreshing on a hot day. And the management were really friendly and helpful. If we are ever if Whangarei again we will go back to this motel.
