My wife and I had a very good 3 night stay in January of 2012. This was despite a serious personal issue encountered by the proprietor during our stay. The service and room were great, the outside breakfast with kangaroos looking on was excellent, and Dirk was very helpful in recommending activities and a tour company.

We spent one night here and it was absolutely gorgeous! The place can be a bit hard to find, but once you get there, it's completely secluded from the road and anything else that might be considered a distraction. The service was so friendly and it felt like waking up at home and having breakfast with the family. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy the quiet and comfort of Maragret River!

Chilled and quiet place to hang out for a few days. Dirk is a good guy and always has an idea where to go and visit! Communal areas big as were the breakfasts! Comfortable and friendly, couldn't really ask for any more!

Spent three relaxing and enjoyable nights at Loaring Place B & B just outside Margaret River and used it as our base to re-explore the area. It was a good choice as our hosts were excellent in all ways, giving great service, a lovely breakfast - and home baked muffins for afternoon tea, useful advice on places to visit and all in the peaceful bush surrounds with easy access to beaches, wineries and eating places.
The rooms were light-filled and comfortable with a spacious bathroom and small private terrace. I was pleased to find out they have built environmentally and have grey-water treatment so I didn't feel guilty about filling the large spa bath!
There is a very large 'art covered' lounge/ indoor dining area with TV/DVD, board games, books, magazines, tea/coffee making facilities and computer. Well back from any roads and set in the bush, the property is surrounded by gardens with places to lounge and relax after too much sun and sea or over-indulgence in the fabulous local produce.
