“ok place to stay”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 February 2012

stayed in the family room with kitchen and wash facilities. The room was ok very uncomfortable chairs in the main room one queen size bed and then two singles in the room next door. The beds have probably the most uncomfortable pillows in Australia so take your own. The only criticism is the cleaning, the chairs in the main room were very stained and the mirror on the door had huge marks on it. I have no idea how the cleaners missed this as it was huge!! THe gym is very dated equipment wise 2 running machine 1 bike and an all in one weights machine but adequate. There is no spa like advertised.

“Exceeded expectations”

We stayed in a Premium Twin Suite with 2 Queen beds, breakfast included. Room was very quaint, decked out to look a bit old-fashioned, but all very nice. Fantastic location across the road from the main Warrnambool tourist attraction. Great value for money!

“State of disrepair”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 January 2012

In spite of reassurance from the management that I would be made welcome and would be comfortable I found this hotel sadly lacking. The reception staff were unable to answer a simple question about my booking, the restaurant staff the next morning were blatantly rude. The room had no opening windows and the air was stale. The room above me had squeaking floorboards so I heard every footstep, unfortunately this was till very late. The decor is very dated and there was evidence of flaking and chipped paintwork everywhere. The only redeeming feature was the service from the delightful young lady who served me dinner. Avoid this place friends, there are much better places to stay in Warrnambool.

“We loved this hotel”

We stayed in a self contained family unit here. After a week on the road it felt wonderful to have a washer and dryer and a complete, well-equipped kitchen to cook some comfort foods. The staff were friendly and helpful giving us lots of advice on what not to miss as we toured the area.

Room Tip: Try the self contained units if you are tired of motels and hotels and want to feel more like you ar...

“Central to parks and the city”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 December 2011

Be clear in your mind what you want when you book at any hotel any where then ask for exactly what you want so you do not arrive disappointed like we did. I pictured being in part of the main hotel, which looks grand and bright and inviting, we had grand children with us, the 2 bedroomed apartment is separate from the main building in the corner pocket of the property. OK the positive is we had no adjoining walls. 2 adults 2 kids $205 per night in the corner. I fee l I could had better value else where as the unit is far from new. Another positive is the staff were very helpful and the unit very clean and large and fully self contained and well laid out.

Room Tip: Corner family unit are separate and quiet
