“A hidden gem”

Not flash from the outside, but very comfortable on the inside. We chose the "cottage accommodation" because we wanted two seperate bedrooms.
Room 9 had two bedrooms, one in the main living area with a double bed, the other one had three singles. The only access to the bathroom was through this room.
Cooking in the rooms is not allowed (not even a microwave) which we thought a bit odd in "family" accommodation. The motel is a short drive, but a long walk from food outlets so a microwave would have been nice. We got some nice Chinese food in the main street, but is wasn't very hot even though we took it straight back. Again, the microwave would have been handy!
However, the owner/manager was very friendly and has great plans for the motel and knows what needs to be done to it to update it.

“pretty nice but late check outs not ok”

spent a friday night at the all star. the room was nice well presented. all in all ok value for money however we were at a wedding the night before and when asking for a late checkout (11am) they said that would cost an extra $30 whcih i thought was a bit rich.

We stayed one night in Warrnambool in October 2007. Even though the All Star Motor Inn is a little bit away from the town centre, we were quite pleased with this hotel. It was clean, had all necessary amenities and the included breakfast was good. We would recommed it for people travelling through Warrnambool as we did. Internet access was included.

Stayed at the All Star Motor Inn over Easter this Year (2007) , and can recommend the All Star to anyone looking for clean and comfortable accommodation. Owners, Peter and Joyce were very obliging and their country style breakfasts are highly recommended
