We were looking for a place to stay overnight in Warrnambool. Being a long weekend, there were very few vacancies. The tourist information centre recommended we try this place. The receptionist was friendly and asked if we wished to view the room, which we did.
Unfortunately this is where our enthusiasm fizzled. The room was very dated looking, the lighting was not great, the kitchenette (if you could call it that) was about to fall apart and the bathroom, well, we couldn't tell if the dark marks on the floor were part of the pattern or dirt! Okay, that's a bit mean - it was probably the pattern. But the bathroom really did look dingy and small.
The tv reception was poor - fuzzy reception.
Although we were desperate, we couldn't face paying $115 per night and staying there.
Perhaps the place or the other rooms are ok but recommend you ask to view the room first and come to your own conclusions!
(PS We ended up at the City Central Motor Inn and Apartments, which was much nicer and cheaper to boot!)
