What a great hotel, so clean, large rooms and modern with very helpful staff. We caught the train from Melbourne and it was a 5 min walk. Front desk staff printed out bus timetables to get to Port Fairy, later that evening Deb ( i think the owner) arranged tickets to the show at the Maritime Museum and then offered to drive us. Wonderful service from all the staff. The bar at the hotel served a very tasty dinner. We will be back to visit again.

Just been fully renovated with new beds + pillows that are the best I have slept on, great place for a short stay and is very close to all the pubs, will be staying here again

We only stayed one night but would liked to have stayed more. The ground floor units have recently been refurbished to a high standard and spotlessly clean. The rooms are well provisioned with tea/coffee, jug, toaster, plates and eating utensils for two. Large shower, very comfortable king sized bed, luxurious towels, hair dryer, reverse cycle air conditioning. Close to the train station and main shopping centre. A large IGA supermarket is located next door, and very close to local dining. We ate at the Royal Hotel and had an excellent meal. Office staff very pleasant and helpful. Can highly recommend.

The Comfort Inn Western was a nice surprise!
The room was recently refurbished and looked new. Everything was clean and comfortable.

Great location, very clean, recently renovated so smelled like paint (not so nice). Rooms were a little noisy but most motel rooms are. Great for a short stop.
