Although the property looks tired, rooms are good as it seems they were recently refurbished and the hotel is in the city centre. A big disappointment was the lack of interest by staff in the attention to guests. For example, at the prepaid breakfast we were not made aware of the routine/ menu, helped ourselves to a fairly meagre continental breakfast ( at which guests had to ask for replenishing of cups, bread, etc) and left our keys at the unmanned reception! Some clients seem to have been offered cooked food, but no attempt was made by the staff to engage with other guests. Why not upsell Warrnambool and the many wonderful assets of this city???I've stayed at cheaper hotels with far better care for guests and better value for money.
Definitely not at all akin to service we have received in other Accor hotels.
