We spent only one night, in unit 9 (one of the honeymoon suites). Our stay was regrettably brief, as we arrived at dusk, had an early flight the next morning and consequently missed out on breakfast so I cannot comment on that.

The house is a lovely heritage place and is recommended for anyone who wants the ambience of an old Edwardian mansion. Unfortunately we had a poor experience when checking in - the lady at reception (not the owner) being intent on ordering a pizza for dinner and determinedly ignoring our presence as we waited for some minutes while she was on the phone (a smile of recognition or saying 'sorry, I 'll be with you shortly' would have been appreciated). Our room was very nice, with a large bathroom and a bay window looking out over the car park - the only downside being the small TV with a tinny sound.

We would like to stay here again when we have more time and can enjoy this place properly.

Room tip: The car park has only limited space, so be prepared to park in the street if you arrive late.

My wife and I stayed here for 4 and we thought it was excellent. The room was huge and very nicely decorated, the bed comfortable, the shower great. The room was a "double suite" which meant it included a tiny but completely equipped kitchenette in a cupboard, with microwave, fridge, crockery, sink etc - everything we needed.

The house is a wonderful huge old very well restored Edwardian house which is a pleasure to walk into.

Parking was a bit cramped but it was no problem parking on the street outside on the one night we missed out on a park.

It is quite well located only 2km from the centre of Launceston, and close to two supermarkets and a Kmart. It is on a busy road, but we did not notice any road noise even with the windows open.

Thoroughly recommended.

Wow what a beautiful estabishment...a former Townhouse! beautifully restored and a what pleasure to experience the traditional past of yester year.
We were warmly greeted by Libby the co owner at the back of the house amongst beautiful colourful flowers and plants.......and felt right at home,
Our room was HUGE and had lovely leadlight bay windows with a King size bed.
A small tucked away kitchenette for a cuppa and an ensuite with ample towels.

Good location, close to the City centre and surrounds of launceston...will definitely stay again.

Room tip: If you are a light sleeper do not choose the roooms at the front of the residence due to traffic flow

sometimes all you can ask for when taking the trip into the unknown of staying in hotels/accommodation is a clean room with a decent (& clean bathroom) & comfortable bed- expecting anymore can sometimes lead to deflating reality! But not with this beautiful Edwardian House! A lovely host - thank you Libby- together with a beautiful room- that had all the above, & easy off-street parking on site, but also the period ambiance that can only come from a renovated period building. The only drawback is, it is on a busy street, & it can be somewhat tricky to get out of the driveway when busy.

Very nice bed and breakfast: small, cozy and a great and with attention to detail: is the ideal place to immerse yourself in another time! We were in the room number 1: quite big, with a little kitchenette (when traveling with children), and fresh fruit on the table. The bed was awesome, the bathroom very little. The owner, which do not remember the name, was really nice and helpful: a very lovely person.
