From the moment we arrived for a nine day honeymoon stay, Wayne, Suzanne and Pablo made us feel like royalty. Their customer service was second to none. The cottage and other rooms were spacious and well appointed. Breakfast was made to order and a platter of cheese and chutney was provided each evening along with glasses of really nice wine that they grow on sight. This turned out to be one of the best parts of each day.

The scenery was incredibly beautiful from every window and deck...literally a postcard view everywhere you looked. The estate is best known for hosting weddings and special events...but it needs to be equally recognized for its wonderful bed and breakfast lodging facilities. They were able to arrange all of our activities for us with no additional charge from brochure rates. This really made it easy to organize our days.

My wife and I don't normally take the time to write these types of reviews, but felt that we had to support this wonderful place. Oh, and by the way, Stoneridge Estate is one of the locations used in filming The Bachelor in 2008. We now know why they chose this location. We plan on celebrating our five year anniversary in the cottage!

We booked Stoneridge Estate to be our introduction to New Zealand. It made a very good first impression. As soon as we were settled Wayne showed up with ample glasses of wine. The breakfasts won me over, they were delicious. Our hosts were very helpful in obtaining reservations for whatever activity or restaurant that we wanted to try. We had never stayed at a B&B before and Stoneridge Estate was a good way to start.

Recently married, my wife and I decided to stay at the Stoneridge Lodge for a portion of our NZ trip. I can't express enough how perfect our stay was. The private cottage gave us everything we could have hoped for: Privacy and quiet, insanely beautiful views and incredible hospitality when we wanted it. The 'when we wanted it' part is very important to me. We had our complete privacy when we wanted to be private, and were welcomed in the main lodge very graciously when we preferred to engage with the main lodge. The lodge is a very nice short walk to one of the better restaurant/vineyards in the region, and there is a great running track around the beautiful lake.
The accommodations were perfect, breakfasts were wonderful and our hosts could not have been more gracious. The grounds were filled with flowers set amongst the vineyard.

My husband and I were just recently married at Stoneridge Estate. The Estate is very beautiful and the staff were extremely gracious and helpful. We had our ceremony in the adorable 'Chapel by the Lake' and our reception followed in The Hayes Room. The scenery is absolutely stunning and I cannot wait to see our wedding photos!!

The owners, Wayne & Suzanne, along with staff Pablo and Carly went out of their way to assure that everything was perfect for our big day. Without their help I could never have done all the planning necessary from New York City. They ensured that no detail was overlooked for our event. The reception room was decorated very elegantly and the food was absolutely delicious. All of our guests were very impressed.

I highly recommend Stoneridge Estate to anyone thinking of getting married in New Zealand. It truly was my dream wedding!!
