We booked last minute and we're so glad we did! An incredible flight to Milford Sound. The highlight of our visit to Queenstown without a doubt. Lovely pilot, interesting stories about flying the cast of the lord of the rings films, and helpful when we landed in taking us tot he ferry terminal. Would highly recommend!

It is hard to think of enough superlatives to describe the experience we have just had! In the capable and professional hands of our pilot Teri Muirhead, we flew over lakes, past glaciers and between mountain peaks when flying to and from Milford Sound. Our most nervous passenger was put at ease from the start of the journey by the pilots confident approach and manner. Weather conditions were amongst the best you could get with seas on the west coast like glass.

We had booked a day trip from Queenstown to Milford Sound. We went by coach and were offered the opportunity to fly back, which we took up. Flying in a Cessner, with one other passenger, we had a guided air tour back in 45 minutes, which gave us the most wonderful overview of the mountain range and geology of the area.

Apart from the sheer beauty and colour of the landscape, you could see how the mountains linked with the lakes, waterfalls and rivers

This air trip was the highlight of the day. One way by coach was enough, albeit interesting in itself.

The flight was very smooth. On arrival at Queenstown, we were driven back to our hotel.
