This was the first place we stayed on our 2 week visit to the South Island. Very friendly, helpful hosts. One-bedroom apartment was very comfortable, with plenty of room for our luggage (there was an extra twin bed in the bedroom), large modern bathroom, kitchen with everything we needed. Coin operated washer/dryer available. Tight parking on motel property, but plenty of street parking - a very quiet, low traffic street. It is a downhill walk to town, so a bit up hill on the way back - if you like to walk and have come for the outdoors, it's a piece of cake.

We had a great time staying at Amity lodge motel,we stayed for 3 nights,(would have stayed longer if we had have had more time) Doug and Jo were really great,the rooms were really clean,the motel is only about 5 mins walk from town but very quiet,good off street parking.we will be staying here again next time we are in Queenstown,thanks john liz and ashley whangarei.

Very friendly, very spacious place to stay! We had a one-bedroom apartment - big front room with a kitchenette and everything you would need to cook a small meal, decent bedroom, and a clean bathroom - what more could you ask? Doug was great in helping us set up an itinerary and getting a couple of tours scheduled. It seemed he really enjoyed his job! Imagine that! I would definitely stay here again. We were 100% pleased.

We stayed at Amity over Christmas and New Years and had a very enjoyable stay.
The owners and staff are friendly and make you feel very much at home.
We had lots of space, the rooms were clean and had everything you could need.
There was on site laundry which was great, and a clothes line.
We arrived on Christmas day and they had left us out a box of chocs, how sweet!
They are all about the little touches, and for the $ you spend we felt it was money well spent.
