I stayed here whilst attending a conference in Invercargill. My colleague and I shared a 2 bedroom standard apartment. Each room was cosy with a double bed, TV and plenty of storage space. The joint area in our apartment was quite small, but that was fine because we were not cooking or eating any meals there. The bathroom was quite small but functional, although a shower curtain would have improved the situation - lots of water ended up on the floor.
We were moved on the second day to another two bedroom apartment as there were unexplained fumes in our apartment. There was a vague explanation about the extractor system which led me to believe this has been an issue before. However the staff were very accommodating with this.
It's not big and if you want to cook or entertain you need to use a communal area, but for somewhere to sleep and have a shower it is excellent value. I would definitely stay here again.
Hot tip: if you are planning on using the car parking and have to park at 13 Tay Street, back your car in. It is VERY tight and practically impossible to turn around when you are in there.More
