We stayed at 295 for 2 nights. After travelling from Christchurch and arriving late in the day without a booking we were made very welcome. We stayed in a studio room upstairs at the rear of the complex. Even though Tay Street is quite a busy street we heard very little street noise. The unit was clean, spacious and comfortable. Parking was excellent and access in and out of the complex was easy. It was also close to a supermarket and the city centre. There was a small hole in the kitchenette wall which was due to be repaired. We would certainly stay there again.

Clean, tidy and very welcoming host. Close to town, heaps of parking and easy check out. Despite being on a main road it wasnt noisey. Like the fact that I could charge back my meal. Would certain stay at the 295 on Tay again

We stayed at 295 on Tay Street with our family in the 3 bedroom motel - it was fantastic. Large living area for the kids to play, great bathrooms and bedrooms and kitchen with everything you needed. Very reasonably priced, would definitely stay again and recommend to any families visiting Invercargill. Thank you for a great stay :-)

Stayed at 295 on Tay Motel in May for one night. We had a studio room which was cosy but comfortable. The bonus was the spa bath (normal size bath) in the bathroom. Great after a long drive from Wanaka. Had good cooking facilities which is always a bonus. This motel is on the main road in and I did notice the traffic noise early in the morning, but I am light sleeper so any noise wakes me. Good value as we paid only $125 on wotif, the cheapest accommodation in our 2 week holiday in NZ.

We travelled down to go to the Bluff Seafood Festival and getting accommodation a week out from the event was difficult. I emailed 295 and within 1/2hr received a reply they had a room available, a little more than we wanted to spend but we had no choice and I am pleased we did pay extra as the room was spacious, clean, good heating, kitchenette and a comfortable bed with an added bonus of a spa bath which was fantastic after being on the road for so long. The room was well set off the street so no traffic noise, given the facility was fully booked we heard no noise. We would stay here again.
