I stayed with 2 others for 2 days here for the rugby, and it was superb. The couple who run the motel were very nice and helpful. We got a sea view room and the view was spectacular. Room was spacious and very clean. Restaurant and pub around the corner, what more could you ask for. There is a great walk along the promenade and there is a mini Bray head, which also has a lovely cliff walk within 5 mins. Its a bit away from the town centre but the taxis are plentiful and the bus stops outside the door. Will definitely be back in the future.

Very happy with our stay here. We stayed in the old house which has no views, which didn't matter at all because the three kids were happy playing in the lounge room in the morning or having a hot spa just metres away. Most of our trip we spent exploring Dunedin or shopping in town so filling in the hour between breakfast and getting ready to go out was easy here. The bus stop is literally outside the building on one side and the beach on the other. A great little playground at St. Clair just a minute around the corner kept my kids (10,8 and 5) happy too. It is a great location and only a short trip into Dunedin on the bus. The rooms were serviced daily with kitchen and bathroom cleaned and fresh towels. Eateries also just around the corner and the Swell restaurant next door allows charge back to the room. Too easy!
