Our deep south road trip thanks to Howie and Backroad Bikes was amazing. Howie set us up with all the gear and knowledge so we could hit the road quickly and make the most of a 2 day road trip around the lower south island of New Zealand. Thanks for everything and we will be back again.

I hired a bike off Howard at backroad bikes in September when I was over for the word cup, from my first enquiry about the bike to returning the bike after a week Howard was a great help. He gave advice on the best routes, places to stay, picked me up from my hotel, showing me the way back to the main highway, emailed me whilst I was away checking how things were, and asking if I need anything. Really you could ask for a better bloke!

The bike I was on was great for the roads, plenty of luggage space in the 30lt boxes. Reasonable range

The only problem was a week was no where near long enough to see the island. Fingers crossed I'll be back over again soon for a good 2 or 3 weeks. I would not hesitate to get a bike from Howard again when I'm back on the south island, I'd recommend him anyone. So thanks again Howard all you did was really appreciated.
