We spent 4 nights here was 2 nights to long but we had miserable weather the whole time. We stayed in a lovely big motel style room very clean and great equipped kitchenette. Great if travelling with a small family. Great children's park next door

stayed in a 3 bed motel unit, 3rd bedroom was small but ok for 1 adult or 2 kids. enough space for suitcases etc. unit is set on its own with a small verandah. wifi in our unit was useless. the whole site has lots of beautiful artwork on the builidngs. helpful staff. unit was clean and was serviced during our 2 night stay. not huge cooking space but there is communal kitchen so not a big issue. near to the beach and to dunedin.
i would say the unit was fine for 3 adults and maybe a couple of kids but no more than 3 adults especially with lots of luggage!

We stayed 2 nights in this park. It was a cabin with two bedrooms. It was very basic but everything we needed was there. However, it was not clean. And it was dark. The bedrooms had no windows at all. The small living area had a couch, a very small dining suite and a sink. It was very small. And when I sat down on the couch I started to feel itchy. It was not clean. The floors in the bedroom were also dirty.

A week later we stayed in the same kind of accommodation in Omarama and we saw how nice it could be. Comparing the two was like chalk and cheese. One very nice and clean, the other dark and rather dirty. And indeed, the heater did not work too well.

However.....the location of the Dunedin place was excellent. It was a short drive to the train station for the train trip into the Taigeri Gorge. It was a short drive to get onto the road to the Peninsula and Lanarch Castle. It was about a 10 minute walk to the beach (not 2 min. as the Park says). So there are plusses as well.

We stayed in a tourist flat for 3 nights. It is a nice little cabin it had 2 bedrooms but the living area was small but clean. most of the staff was wonderful and helpful, Would recomend but not with a big family.
