We arrived in Dunedin after traveling for about 8 days in a big group and I loved this hotel. It was value for money. The beds were such a relief after many days on the road and extremely comfortable. We booked a standard room and I have no complaints about it even though the view was that of the hypermarket opposite. The casino is just nearby and there is a delightful bar.

We stayed here for a quick overnighter to see Elton John. Room and bathroom was ok although the bed was extremely comfortable. Our stay was ruined by consistently poor reception service. We apologies profusely to the staff for making their lives so difficult by wanting to check in and check out. Their lives would clearly be much easier without guests wanting to be served.

I liketyhe way the whole staff are team and create an outstanding service to those staying. The bag boys/men are one of the best assets this hotel has. It still irks me that front counter staff still fail to use peoples names, but i am over it.
Dining options and casino very handy.

This is an older hotel so rooms are small but probably the most comfortable bed ever!
We had booked a package which included sparkling wine on arrival and the concierge actually phoned my husband to ask if he would like it in the room when we arrived in case it was all a surprise for me . That was typical of the great personal service . Despite the hotel having some VIP guests we were made to feel as if we were in fact VIPs ourselves . Breakfast buffet was excellent
While there may be bigger rooms on other hotels I would certainly go back here.
