This hotel is a really good deal in Dunedin. Stayed there twice. The rooms are small, but there is everything you need. And they are clean. The bathroom is just a "cubicle" made of frosted glass inside the actual room.

There is free parking (limited availability) and a communal kitchen and eating area. Location is also good, easy walking to city center.

Would stay there anytime when in Dunedin.

My husband and I stayed in a queen studio for 3 nights in late January. 'Livingspace' offers a rather compact but exceedingly efficient use of living space. It was all we could have wanted or needed for our 4 day visit to Dunedin. The bed was comfortable.The shower/bathroom 'pod' was novel and worked well. The studio was clean and well presented. (Altho the venetian blinds could have done with a clean...dusty)The service was excellent. During our stay we did have to move rooms as the neighbouring house had youthful tenants who liked to skateboard on their ramp until the early hours...the hotel is endeavouring to solve this problem through correct channels.The hotel was most apologetic and accomodating in our move to another side of the building. Flat & short easy walk to city. Will stay there again.

We stayed in the Dunedin Livingspace for two nights after enjoying our stay at the Invercargill version. There was a bit of a B.O. smell in the lobby but I think they were trying to counter it during our stay. We were in a standard room (downsized from our plush I'cargill room!) but it was fine. Funky bathroom cubicle made of frosted glass. You really only want to share one of these rooms with someone you know well! Room was clean, modern and functional. GREAT BED! Could have done with a bed-side light though. Pain in the jacksie having to find your way along the wall in the dark to switch on the light!
Kitchen was a bit more lacking in pots/pans than the Invercargill Livingspace but still clean. Location pretty decent. Would stay again.

Stayed here for 1 night. Rooms are small, but all you need if you are just sleeping in your room and exploring the city/area by day. Bed was comfortable, although I would of liked a bedside table to sit phone on for a clock. Communal areas are great, the whole setup reminds me of a college/university dorm.
