Nice place but no breakfast service in the weekends,very disappointing. Also specifically booked this place on the basis it had air conditioning. Spoke to person when booking that this was one of the main reasons we using this motel. Motel owner commented when in our room that we had it on. Yes I said its colder here than expected. We left for the day to return to the heat pump being turned off in our absence. This is the utmost point of rudeness. Also the bathroom is tiled in fully gloss tiles on the floor. Absolutely dangerous. We had to lay all the towels on the floor to eliminate slipping. Very very dangerous.

This was actually the second motel I tried in Christchurch. The first was fully booked. Definately landed on my feet. The only downside was I needed to pay for the WiFi access - but paid a competitive rate for it. Very helpful hosts, not too far from Shops and restauarants and short drive to the CBD.

Due to the earthquake, the city center is closed. Basicand elegant interiors. We had a spa studio and it was great. The room was organised and equipped (TV, DVD player and Music system provided). There is adequate parking for guests and hosts Brian and Sue are indeed helpful. However you would find the location of stove is under a rack, cramping your hands while cooking. Also the location of the almirah is by the bed post and very little room to access that. But barring a few of these factors, the place is tidy and clean, well maintained. It has a laundry room as well. Rooms at the back have open sitting area at the rear which is a nice add on. Overall a great place. (Due to the earthquake, the city center is closed. )

We stayed there for only one night and found it very convenient. The room, although it's small, is very comfortable and clean. The small kitchen has all you need to prepare a quick meal and the service is good. Only thing is that there's not much space in the bathroom for your toiletries. Not a big deal.
