We spent a couple of nights at the Marlborough Vintners Hotel during our recent trip to NZ. The hotel was beautiful. We had a one-bedroom suite with a large separate sitting room, kitchenette and dining room table. Our patio opened out unto the vineyards and had a table and lounge chairs.

There was a continental buffet breakfast included with the room, which you could have in the lovely dining room, or out in the garden. We also had dinner there one night, and the food and service were fantastic. The staff were friendly and eager to give tips on wineries, restaurants and places to see in Blenheim, Renwick or the wine region.

We took advantage of their onsite laundry room, complete with laundry baskets, drying racks and magazines. The staff seemed to have thought of everything. They have free DVDs for loan in the lobby and bikes are available for rent. MVH was probably my favorite accommodation of my 10-day trip in NZ. It was quiet, relaxing and felt like "a home away from home". I would highly recommend it.

Our cabin was superbly furnished , very clean and well appointed.

the restaurant seemed to be slightly understaffed but when beer (Moa) , wine (we drank the house wine and that was really very good indeed) and food arrived it was worth waiting for. Even the nutloaf was very good. I had tried to persuade my companion not to embarrass me by having this sixties hippy food but she persisted and pronounced it excellent. I went to the other extreme and had a very good , almost bleu fillet steak (the hotel had no English mustard but that , incredibly , seems to eb the norm in New Zealand).

This place is wonderful! You get to stay right next to the vineyards. We were there for our honeymoon and we were glad we went there!

The accomodation is a one-room apartment. It was spacious and comfortable and clean.

We ate there and the meal was simply delicious!

The only downside to our stay was that we went there at the start of spring. We plan to go there again when the vineyard is full of fruits. It must be lovely then!

If you are looking for a place outside Blenheim this place is great. It is a little modern but the rooms are a good size and the facilities excellent
