Firstly, it's quite a difficult place to locate. There are two entrances - one on Lambton Quay, and the other at the back of the building on The Terrace. Even though the address is Lambton Quay, you will want to use the entrance on The Terrace - easier for parking and reception is actually located here.
Room: One Bedroom Corporate Apartment
- Windows so thin you can hear traffic, people, road/building works all day and night.
- Bed uncomfortable. 2 Single Beds were pushed together to make a Queen Bed and this was very noticeable when lying in bed. Middle of the bed was very hard and raised, as they were the sides of the Single Beds pushed together.
- Cutlery & Crockery was dirty - dried bits of food stuck to them.
- Walls are quite thin; you can hear your neighbours talking/laughing etc.
As it's an Apartment Building they don't offer room service, but they do provide information and menus for some of the restaurants & cafes close by - handy!
At night, it's a nice walk from the Apartment into the centre of the city (pubs/shops)... As it's a business district, it doesn't seem to be busy at night.
I personally wouldn't stay here again, as the noise is quite unbearable and I didn't get one good night's sleep in that bed.
