i arrived at the hotel at least 4 hour before check in as i was on a early flight etc
they were happy to check me in and hold luggage and give me a ring if room came available.
i asked if i could use lobby bathroom to change into gym gear to go for a run and use there off site gym. they politely informed they having problems with lobby toilet/bathroom facilities as it has no water supply etc ( didn't think i needed running water to change clothes but never mind)
they checked me in at 1 which was nice of them
this hotel from moment u step into lobby looks just tired nd old
corridors with marks all over wall paper and doors with several knocks and scratches
the rooms are operated by a key still and dont lock from inside except for a door chain
i got a hell of a scare when housekeeping tried to get in to top up the mini bar assuming no one there lucky they didnt get in as i was havin a nap on bed with just the undies on :)
the room door rattles and makes a loud noise every time someone exited from there room in lobby all thru day n night
i didn't try the hotel breakfast but other travelers spoke very highly of it
we had an all day meeting in one of suites and facilities in there were excellent ( especially the tea nd coffee )
all in all i would say a great one night stay hotel for business meetings etc
strongly discourage for couple and families to stay here
P.S. off site gym is les mills one of nz premiere gym chains and was stoked to use tht then a small ill equipped hotel gym even though it was 10 minute walk away
