This hotel is superb. Located just metres from the cable car, the appointments were truly luxurious. The fully equipped kitchen, full-sized dining table, comfortable lounge area, huge bedroom and excellent bathroom made our three-night stay totally comfortable. The included breakfast gave us a great start to the days of exploring a very wet and windy city in early January. Staff were superb.

Family of two adults and two kids. We had a family suite. Perfect accommodation layout. And although the hotel is bang in the middle of Wellington, it's quiet at night.

I got a good price on this property through RatesToGo. The location is excellent - right in the middle of the city. The room was spacious and clean. They provide limited free wifi in the foyer. When I included a comment on the feedback form suggesting that all of the wifi should be free they took the time to send me an email explaining their position but saying that it was under review. Staff were always friendly and helpful.

I checked in here after leaving my last hotel in horror. The manager behind the desk, Angela, was very efficient and even upgraded me to a 1-bedroom apartment even though I only paid for a studio. The room itself was very big and grand, and clean.

My only gripe is that a previous guest had obviously used the 'vanity pack' in the bathroom - there was orange ear wax on the cotton bud - before replacing it, so obviously amenities aren't always changed between guests if they appear to have been unused.

Shower was great, and it was simple enough to get in after hours with the swipe card.
