lovely to be back and everything was as expected apart from the underfloor heating not working it wouldnt stop us from staying again, great service great place rite down by the water. just lovely. you sure give these chain hotels a run for there money.

We stayed there in early July, the weather was not so good but the location and under floor heating made up for that. Very friendly owners and a very enjoyable stay. We will not hesitate in staying there again when we return.

After finding the Motel online, we were treated as special. Got the room we wanted - the photos online were excellent. 5 nights of peaceful, refreshing sleep in a good bed and my wife's desire to see another great Taupo sunset satisfied 4 times. Put too much bubble bath in the first spa we had! but enjoyed the relaxing in-room-spa and the hot pool outside. Very calming views of the lake and hills. Want to come back next Easter.

- the bottlebrush tree should be kept low (it blocked some lake view).

Great location. Open the door and the lake is just there. Quiet, comfortable and clean.
Went for a couple of brilliant walks along the shore, with the birds and the thermal streams and the incredible views. lovely thermal pool an added bonus.
Friendly owners very helpful.
