The wait staff at this restaurant were spot on. The restaurant management has created a seemingly flawless method of service - providing an almost abundant number of staff for each aspect of dining - beverage staff, food service staff, sommeliers and customer service staff - meaning that when you eat here, your glass is never empty, your table and empty plates never left between courses and service can always be obtained when needed.

The pricing seems a bit steep, but once the produce is tasted, it is well worth the money - both the preparation put into each meal and the quality of produce is top notch, and staff are well drilled in advising a good match for each dish. We had the seafood tasting for two, which was, in my opinion, worth the money and the time needed to eat it.

It is recommended to place a reservation for weekend sittings, as the restaurant seems to be popular - if you do not have a reservation, be prepared to eat at 9:30 p.m!

The wine list is extensive, with options for all budgets and tastes. As we only had a bottle of champagne, I cannot comment on the sommeliers recommendations or advice, however the restaurant has won numerous awards for its wine expertise - however in the end, it is personal choice!

Again late with review, dined august 2011. Had not heard anything about this restaurant and was really surprised. Beautiful room, nice and bright and very classy. Variety of dishes and quality excellent. Cost $120 for 2 meals and 2 wines. Fairly good value but more for special occasion.

Excellent venue, superb food, expensive wines in extensive (and hi tech on iPad) wine list and top notch service meant for an excellent night with friends. Went there with same group 12 months ago, and would most certainly return again.

Highlights:
- Sat next to a celebrity (won't say who for their sake)
- Was given a corner table - great for a romantic evening
- Wine was fantastic (had the Echèzeaux Grand Cru – Récolte du Domaine Joseph Drouhin, and 2007 La Spinetta Bricco Quaglia Moscato d’Asti D.O.C.G, Piedemont, Italy)
- Chocolate Fondant was just how fondant should be
- Pavlova was lush
- Waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu
