Nice pelace but not value for money, way too expensive and while food is OK, not worth the price

really average too many staff, food average ...things that make you go hmmmmm !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Food is very good, but not remarkable. And very expensive. But very nice atmosphere and views and a great meal out.

You may as well order the glass of wine the staff will offer you as soon as you sit down, because it will take you a while to read the menu and decide which of the amazing sounding dishes you want to eat.
A great view out over the south bank promenade, and an open kitchen where you can watch the chefs in action, together with high ceilings and an open plan dining area sets Rockpool apart from the other restaurants in this price range whee you feel compelled to talk in hushed tones and not touch anything. The environment at Rockpool is great, loud chatter and constant movement, but with the exceptional service and food you would expect from Neil Perry.

By no means a cheaper option, however the flavour and texture combinations of the savouries made it worth every penny. The deliciously smooth French wines are also not the cheapest, but again worthy the spend.

We found the desserts, while nice, were not on the same level as the rest of the meal, which was a bit of a disappointment. If we were to go again we'd probably skip dessert and get a gelato or something on Southbank. However, I only say this because the rest of the food was so amazing.
