Head waiter sharp and concise. Menu confusing terminology. If food needs this much salt, then you detract from it's true flavour. Restaurants are quietly killing us.

The positives first..... The food was very good (small servings) and the service was excellent, but the press club is outrageously expensive. Definitely not worth it $120 for three courses food only, ridiculous. Because there was 8 people in our party we had a choice of 3 items for each course on a special menu - not much of a selection. As I said the food was good but nothing to rave about. Small serves may be part of the fine dining experience but at that price one should leave satisfied. If you like a drink you better have a full wallet. The wine list matches the price of the food, wine is very expensive. For the average punter it is far too expensive for what is on offer and there are plenty of resaurants out there that offer good food, a good wine list for a more reasonable price.

The meal was average to say the least. I was expecting something special, but could have made much nicer myself. This was about 2 years ago though. Needless to say I haven't been baCK.

It is classical Greek food. The expectation at a leading restaurant is for something special, a cut above the norm, some 'wow'factor. The food & service is good but not exceptional and not unique. There are other Greek restaurants in
Melbourne offering equal quality food at better prices = better value.
