I wandered in here when it looked packed on a Thursday night. I was warmly welcomed, they squeezed me in and the service was A1.

I'm a big fan of gin, not the pre mix can variety, but top shelf G&T. Out came a version that only die hard gin drinkers know about, the Hendricks with slices of cucumber...awesome.

Gingerboy is your hawker style menu, where you order tapas size serves of very tasty and very unique culinary treats. If you look at Trip Advisor because your a bit of a foodie, then you must visit.

Great original food to share, fantastic wine and spirit list, plus service from people who obviously love there food and value working at a place of this calibre.

Get in if you can!!

This is probably one, perhaps the best, restaurant in Melbourne that serves Chinese food. The chefs are creative and I love the way they serve traditional Chinese food with a twist.

I went here the other night with a girlfriend. We tried a few other places first that were closed and just happen to walk past Gingerboy and went in. It was packed when most other restaurant's were empty. We were seated at the bar as no tables were available and just had the best meal. We shared the cuttlefish which was crispy and delicious and the tamarind pork in lettuce leaves which was also amazing. Then we shared the baby chicken for main, it was incredible. Juicy, tender, beautifully cooked. Fantastic. And finished off with pineapple fritters with cinnamon ice cream which was again fantastic. First time here, will definitely be back again as soon as possible. Loved it.
